GRAFFITI REMOVAL GUIDE
What Property Owners Should Know Before Graffiti Removal
Paint type, surface material and time all influence the removal plan. A careful assessment should come first.
Document The Area First
Photograph the graffiti and the surrounding surface before cleaning. Property managers may also need to follow their own reporting or insurance procedures. Documentation creates a clear record of the original condition.
Once any required reporting is complete the cleaning assessment can begin.
The Base Surface Matters
Brick, stone, concrete, painted walls and coated metal respond differently to graffiti removal. Porous masonry can absorb paint while a finished surface may be vulnerable to the wrong product or pressure.
The goal is to reduce the graffiti without creating a larger damaged patch.
Paint Type And Age Matter
Fresh markings may respond differently than paint that has cured in the sun. Spray paint, marker and other coatings can require different products or repeated treatment. A test area can help evaluate the surface response.
Some shadows or color change may remain on porous or weathered materials.
Prepare For The Cleaning Visit
Provide clear access and identify cameras, lights, outlets, landscaping and nearby customer areas. Discuss runoff and any coating that may be needed after removal.
No Pressure SoftWash can review graffiti on brick, stone, concrete and suitable commercial exteriors.
